I have a little 'fig nursery' set up on my back porch (for now). There are 14 little ones here in 1.5 gallon pots. All of these trees have been received from members on this forum. Some were purchased, some were gifted with kindness. All are loved and appreciated by me. I won't out anyone but if you want to out yourself, feel free :)

They're all doing great. A few suffered from transfer shock but they are resilient little things and have already forgiven me by sprouting new growth. 

All are labeled but my next project will be to label them with something more permanent attached to their containers. 



The other gifted treasures not pictured here are some cuttings that are living inside and are still doing well. Fingers crossed I see roots from the cups soon.

Looking good. I see you are using the air pots. How are they working for you? They sound interesting.

This is my first go with the air pots. I did a lot of reading on them before making the purchase. From what I have read on here and other fig forums is they do a good job. Minimal root loops (doesn't eliminate all of them) looping around the pot, good root growth, healthy plants. Requires more watering and fertilizing. We'll see if they are worth the extra hassle as time goes on!

Nice fig collection.  I was just going to ask about the air pot, so let us know how it works in the future. 

I'll let you know. I bought the 1.5 gallons and 3 gallons so I can upsize them as needed. They were easy to put together.

I have been looking into these pots as well. Just not enough info that I can find to make a decision on them.  

Currently I was able to find some orchid pots with air slits in the sides. Also there are a lot of good clear pots out there as well to monitor the roots of young cuttings. 

I use the regular black nursery pots making a few extra larger holes in the bottom and drill many small holes into the sides for increased air flow.
