San Diego, CAThis originated from Paradise Nursery, and while it is in then "honey" category, seems like no other. It is larger than other honey figs, and ripens late in the season for me. Very good flavor.
FYI. The link in the sticky "Fig of the day" jump page is broken for this thread.
I think 5 years ago now I ordered some figs from WillisOrchard and none of them were what they were labeled. I had varieties they don't even list on their website. I think this is Italian Golden Honey from what I see in the data base. I'm starting over with a cuttings I had when I lost the mother tree this winter. It was very sweet when dehydrated.

Jon, let me know when you have one of these for sale. I missed Tom's tree on eBay. I want to compare it to Votata.
can you spare 1 or 2 cuttings of this one. I am here local. I will pay for postage.
Dennis, If you still don't have the Italian Golden Honey try Rabbit Ridge nursery - they are making cuttings this winter and will have them in the spring. Their plant came from Paradise nursery by way of Drowning Creek Farms
Looks like Conadria
