Gorgi I know you can graft ficus Carica onto Ficus Palmata, this is done in India they graft Conadria onto F. Palmata Rootstock and say its much more vigorous read that on a pdf somewhere.

Hello,

I am from France and I am growing Hava. This fig from Egypt is also called "Fayumi"; the oddity is that the leaves don't have any lobes; except that, the fruits are not fabulous, not very sweet and they need the wasp for the second crop. I got it last year because it's a curiosity and it's the only one I have from Egypt. I'll wait another year to see if the fruits get any better; if they don't I will not keep the tree. I talked about it with Pierre Baud last month and he agreed with me about the average taste of the fruit.
Actually I tried a few last summer and finally let the birds have them  . . . .
