Fig Pics and Taste

for five figs. Thanks to my wife for assisting getting this together.

Zingarella was almost creamy with no crunch and not to sweet. An 8

Orourke (JR) very jammy, not to sweet and no crunch. An 8

Paradiso kinda melon taste and creamy. Not to sweet and no crunch. An 7

Blanquette jammy, sweet, maybe a little raspberry. An 8

Tacoma Violet, not sweet, watered down but I had already given it high marks in previous post.

thanks! is that morle paradiso pulp amber color then pink in its very center?
what do u attribute the mild flavors overall to? rain/are they still young?

Thanks for the rundown. Glad to see you back so soon. I assume the surgery went well.

thanks for the taste report.
i'm glad to see you back so soon.
ps: my morle paradisio is much more bronze. i expect to see no green when fully ripe.

The Morle Paradiso had just a hint of pink and yes all the rain was really bad for this group of figs but the
trees are all three year old trees.

Nice "figging" Mike...welcome back...good health to you.    :)  :)

um, are you sure your paradisio was ripe?  i just went out and looked at mine. the color is the same as your orourke jr.

do you think we have different trees? joe said this was paradisio, it  was tagged paradisio.

ifthey are the same tree, do you think my climate is responsible? i'm on the high plains, at 4000' elevation. the sun is brutal. and of course, no rain.

can you post a pic of the leaves? i don't know how.
