At Urban Crust in Plano, TX. Saw this on the menu and had to try it.

Ah. Can't seen to post pics from my phone. Will attach later.

Mmm... Delicious, but maybe a little too sweet for lunch.

If you do a google image search for fig pizza, there are many images of them. Some look good, others less so. I had a friend who made one. It was only fair to my tastebuds. But then she was not a particularly good cook. ;)

The first slice or two was good, but then was just way to sweet.

It was called the Urban Amour.  It had fig preserves, arugula, goat cheese and ham.   I couldn't finish it all..  May have been better with fresh figs, instead of preserves.  I'll have to try it if/when my figs ripen.

KK,
Will you please post the recipe for Charles Edward's Pizza Dough, page 67? Wondering if he does anything special. Also, what is the name of the book?

Yeah--Add some garlic and a bit of minced jalapeno and lose the olives.  All sorts of possibilities with this one.

2T? Yikes! I wonder if that's a typo. 2 tsp even would be too much for me to use. But then I don't add much salt to anything.
