Fig pizza

This is the one thing that is better than eating just fresh figs. I can eat it every day.
Ingredients: Fresh mozzarella, sautéed red onion, arugula, prosciutto, and figs. The figs that seem to work best for me are Mt Etna type. I used Black Greek, Takoma Violet, and a few unknowns.

Looks great, Art.  I had something pretty similar that I found on the menu at a local restaurant  (Lampy's Mediterranean Grill).  Theirs had similar ingredients (included fresh mozzarella, figs, prosciutto, onion, some oil, parmesan, various spices and herbs).  It was very very good.  (The figs were of unknown variety).  I'm sure that yours was even better!

Yeah, just put the arugula on when you take it out of the oven.

Looks great! My wife has been on a pizza kick lately - making fresh dough and topping them with arugula. All we're missing is some figs. Hopefully that will change soon!

Tony, It won't be long. Next year you will have a good one. Especially with the greenhouse.
Same here with the pizza kick. Tomato pizza is another favorite around here.
