The poor leftover figs from the first set of cuttings I received in the fall. One of each type is in the ground so here the unwanted, unchosen figs sit in their 1 gallon prisons behind fencing while chickens and ducks leer at them and the watermelon vines creep toward them menacingly under the semi-tropical Florida sun.
There are 18 varieties in that group of 40 ish plants and I figured if I had leftovers others must as well. I have traded 1 gallons to a couple of folks recently but anyone else interested? I do realize the shipping is more expensive doing it this way than shipping cuttings, about $14 a pot but still isn't bad. If this goes well I will do it again with the second and third waves of potted cuttings but none of those plants have made it to the ground yet.
To be clear I am not trying to sell these plants or have anyone send me postage.I was just stating what it cost me to ship a 1 gallon plant last week. I am just looking to trade my extras for your extras is all.
