I had to close that window of this site as I started salivating by reading those fig recipes.
I am so waiting for fresh figs :)

I know what you mean Remis, cant wait till temps stay in high 40s so i can start wheeling my trees in an out of garage. Coulple weeks we can do what we did last year.  ; )

Fresh figs are best.

Home canned figs are second best.

And I have at least a dozen pints left to get me through the rest of the year until I can get fresh ones again.

There are dozens of recipe sites under "Links" at Figs 4 Fun. Not to mention several good books that are available such as "Fig Heaven".

Another excellent book I just received is the one Ingevald mentioned in an earlier post. It's "Under the Fig Leaf" by Sherri Lee. Wonderful recipes, great color photos. I have Fig Heaven too and its a delicious book as well.

Also on Yahoo!Groups there's a fig recipe group, Fig-Recipe where I've found some interesting recipes. Haven't had enough figs from my trees to try them but maybe this year. There are a few other fig recipe groups as well:

Just recieved Sherri Lee's "Under the Fig Leaf" as a Christmas gift. Really excited for the season to try some of these recipes. The book came out in 2009 and judging from the award stickers, it looks like it has been noticed. Glad to have it in the library! Merry Christmas all!
