The snow is down enough so I could open my root celler today. It was a mess, i put hay over some of the figs and the hay molded. Where the hay touched the figs they molded. For the most part, it was only tips that molded. The brown turkey figs where hit the hardest, but they are still alive and will be fine. I only found one fig that looks dead. Next year NO Hay and i will put in a vent. I had some small late cutting that I did not cover and they look 100% ok. Rex
