Fig Tart Recipe

Not sure if these have been shared yet. A family member kindly shared this recipe with me via facebook. Looks amazing. Please someone make them and tell me how delicious they are. I can only hope I'll get enough figs this season to make something like this.

Sounds good. I wonder if baking would be better than frying?

I wondered that too. Cut down on the fat but still have some nice flavor.

I bake them, but use a flacky crust recipe, if you choose to fry, you will get a different flavor still good, but different. I will not debate the health either way, a few every now and then is fine, life in moderation!  The portuguese recipe version I use as egg and honey in the dough to provide the sweetness and course raw sugar sprinkled on top.

Yum.  If I ever get enough figs, I will try it.
