Fig Trade Anyone?

I started about 60 varieties of figs this winter, some did better than others, but I have a lot to trade. I do not know the etiquette of the forum so before I put everything out there I wanted to make sure it was ok. Let me know and I will post a list with pictures. Not all varieties will be up for trade, and many came from here. :-) They will all be in 4x4x9" pots and will be from 4-10". (Just babies but I will make sure they are rooted to the bottom b4 listing). Thanks

I am interested, I will let you know after I see what types you have.

any specific types you need?

You met the first criteria of etiquette by trying to find the proper etiquette for listing.

As has been the practice here, as I understand, you simply place in your post the list of your plants for trade. Also, show your wishlist and indicate if willing to consider varieties in trade other than those in your wish list. Provide feedback some how to show which variety is no longer available. Generally that is it unless I miss something imprtant..

The ones not for trade can be shown off separately.

I will build a list tonight and post. Thanks

Is cash plus postage an option for trade?

Paypal?

I'm happy to see this!  I too started over 60 cuttings this Spring, over 12 varieties and would like to trade and share my extras now.  I just recieved 2 plants in the USPS 38" (med) tube mailer. I was delighted to see the postage was not much over $6.00.  I requested the small tube boxes from usps. They're free and very sturdy triangular design. I'm ok with holding my plants until they are dormant if someone prefers shipping that way. .   I'll make up my surplice list and get back to you.
Are you in Sicily?  That would require a courier,,, although I have family in Calabria and Cremona I could enlist. :-)

Some have asked if I would just sell any.

I could sell the following:

Peter's Honey
Wuhan
Unknown Italian Honey 'Sorrento'
Unknown 'Nyack'
Unknown 'Bronx'.

These would be $15 each plus $5.00 shipping.

The picture is Wuhan. Some people have asked if it was the real thing. Can anyone ID it?
