Fig Tree

Does anyone know the difference between The Panache and Panachee Fig Tree/ Tiger? I'm trying decide on which tree to buy. But I noticed the leaves are different in color and texture.

there should be no difference between Panache and Panachee.  It is a different spelling for the same tree.  There are two different "Tiger" trees.  One is simply 'Tiger' the other is 'LSU Tiger'.  The former is a synonym for Panache.

Thank you. The leaves though are different, one is darker and sandpaper like to the touch while the other is a brighter green. Any help there?

Panache / Panachee / Tiger will have variegated leaves and bark.  It was recently the Fig of the Day (see here).

What is the best soil for it to grow in? Should I re-pot it after buying it and in the same size pot or larger?

Sorry I'm learning how to use this forum. What soil is best to grow my fig tree in? Should I re-pot in the same size or larger pot?

3 kinds Jolly Tiger too

If you search the forum, there is a wealth of information on growing trees in containers.  There is no "best" growing mix.  Any/all are full of compromises.  Consequently, what works best for me and my growing habits may not be what is best for your situation.
