Nice list, Greg!
All my figs were pollinated. If you want more seeds, please let me know. I have one very ripe now and definitely will have more next year.

Nice fig lists on here!

Greg,  Looking forward to hearing how your in ground project goes.  Why the big interest in fig seedlings?

Hi Pino.  Because I live outside of the normal fig range I'm hoping that working with seedlings might help me find plants that can adapt to my zone.  Seedlings are a low investment for screening and they may be somewhat epigenetically flexible while in their juvenile years.  We'll see.  Part of the hobby for me.

Greenfig, thank you.  What fig is it and any idea who the caprifig was?

This is most of them except a few new ones.

Very nice Hershell, I see many on your list I'm looking to add to mine and a few I never heard of. Thanks for sharing.

Hershell,

I wasn't aware of two Nero 600s.  Do you have any information on how they are the same or different?

Hope they all grow healthy and produce tons of fruits...

Hershell,
A nice list of figs!
I like this name: Gmail 171 Gaudi. Do the figs send you an email when they are ripe ? :D

What do you do with your Caprifigs up there?

Hershell, are those leaf shapes on Nero 600 and Vasilika Sika holding consistent?  I sort of expected them to go back to fingery, so if not that's interesting.  I wonder if one leaf type or the other might be more productive?  Broader leaves catching more light and better hiding the figs from birds maybe?

James. I have a lot of information on the Nero 600. I have two plants and that is how I see it. Just kidding. harveyc posted about his having two leaves so I got one of the ones that is not fingered. My thoughts is that the fingered leaves may have been a mutation and now it is mutating back to the original. I have a friend that has both leaves on one plant. There is a thread and picks somewhere.
Greenfig. The Gmail171gaudi is a great fig. It will send me a message when it has ripe figs and I have waited and waited, the only thing it can't do is correct my spelling. Thanks for pointing that out. The Capri figs I hope to grow and get wast sent to me so I can try to keep them alive through the winter. I would like to have several large trees hoping to keep a viable colony if it is possible.
Grasa. Thanks for the kind words.
Greg. I bought both trees and it seems to me that there are two varieties with the same name. I'm sere someone knows more than I do. The long fingered one is the much sought after one on eBay.
I forgot that most of my trees are in 3 gallon post, about 25 in 15 gallon pots and a new group of 1 gallon.

I have two Nero600M in ground.  One plant has normal leaves and the other plant has two main limbs one is all finger leaves and the other is all mulberry leaves.

are there any other differences in the growth habits of the limbs with different leaves?

Greg,

The fig is an Unk. Pastilliere. The closest to me Caprifig is a black one.
I could check the seeds if they sink first.

Sounds like a nice pedigree!  I'm game to try.  Thanks.  PM sent.

Hello, I know this thread is a few years out of date but I thought I might add my very very small collection to the roster!  I have only been collecting for about 2 years.

heart to scratch it from the list)

LSU Scotts Black

Stella

Nero 600M

Newly propogated this year from cuttings:

Conadria

That's a great start for only 2 years, thanks for sharing. If you want to swap some cuttings this fall let me know and maybe I can help add a few more to your list.

Thank you, sorry I am replying so late!  I never got the memo... I will have to see how much they grow over the summer before taking cuttings, but if not this fall then next fall I will hopefully be able to swap cuttings with people!
