Fig trees everywhere

Jesse, I'd still like to get a Noire de Caromb, so that I could compare, but I'm very happy with the Unk AS.

Igor, sorry you were late, my friend.

Hi again everyone. Just to update the Unk Italian AS cuttings. All are ready to send out tomorrow to Mike, Dave, Sharon, Von, Kevin, Chris, Bill, Ed, Phil, Jim, Jimmy, and Andy. Others were sent out last week to California members, and they have them already. I gleaned several more, so if there are a few others looking to try these, let me know. I'm looking forward to hearing how they do. Thanks!

I'd love a cutting.

Hi all, cuttings went out today, USPS priority. You should receive them by Wednesday or Thursday. E-mail me if you would like the tracking #. I hope they root well for you!

Gary, got the cuttings! Thanks so much for the extras. And can't wait to see how it goes.

Good to hear, Von. I hope they do well for you.

Thanks for the cuttings Gary, they look great...

Von, I'll be interested to hear how these do for you in northern VA!

Steve, will keep you and Gary updated as I get these going. And if I'm lucky, you will get a plant (if you want one) when you get the ground cherries. I plan on getting those started in March, so will have them available sometime in April, if you are still interested.

Von, sounds great - let's stay in touch.

Thanks, Gary. Cuttings look great!

Thanks very much for your generosity Gary. The cuttings are in and look grrreat!

Hi Gary, all arrived in great shape. Hope to get them going this weekend. Thanks for the surprise, greatly appreciated!

Hi Gary, my package arrived today too. Who would have thought that it was quicker to ship from CA than from FL.

Thanks for the surprise too. I look forward to getting these going.

Bump

Hey Gary. I wanted to give you an update on the Italian AS cuttings. One is grafted onto one of my inground Celeste and is looking great after about two weeks. Two more are in a small container in spagnoum and both showing strong roots, one of them is a tip cutting and has three fig embrios popping up,evidence of a heavy producer. I have a couple of them left in the fridge patiently waiting for the warm weather . The Bourjasotte Gris is starting to show root initials. So far so good. Thank very much for sharing this awesome tree with rest of us.

Thank you, Chris, for the update. It sounds as if you are doing great with them, and I hope you get to taste them this summer. I hope everyone that got them has your success. Thanks again!
