Fig Trees Starting to AWAKE

I gave my parents an Italian Honey (saxonfig) and a Conadria fron a NY member.

Both are in-ground, going on their 2nd year in Bradenton, north side of Sarasota Bay (Bayshore Gardens).  The Conadria is going totally ballistic, and has put on several brebas.  Seems to be a good variety for central- and south-Florida.

Sal, I still need to pop by, going to be back in Stuart in a couple of weeks, but the grandparents and great grandparents are going to want to see their 5 month old great/granddaughter, and I'm not sure if I'll be able to break away.  One of these days I'm going to make it over there!!

Mine are just starting to come in too. I just put them in bigger containers. Ill try to post some pics soon. Wish everyone a great growing season!

Jason,
Is that the red peach tree in the back row that I sent you?
Cathy

yes ma'am!

In Central Texas (just north of Austin), my trees have been slow to wake up.  They did, however, suffer almost 100% damage to the top over the winter.  About a dozen started last week.  I'm anxiously waiting to see what the rest do.

In Houston, the trees started pushing leaves about 3 weeks ago.

All of my potted and in ground are awake and growing. Some also have figs. Here is a picture of my yearling trees from last year. Wishing everyone a great growing season.
