Any Pineapple upside recipe works, use fresh figs cooked down with brown sugar to taste instead of the Pineapple.  make sure to drain off some of the goodness (Fig ) syrup otherwise it will saturate the cake, okay with me but may be a little mushy for some people.

Along with a cup of really good coffee I would like a little vanilla ice cream on the side or some fresh whip cream or even better some Stranahan's whiskey whip(add a Tblspn or two of fine whiskey to the cream before you whip it). Whiskey whip is delicious on things like pecan pie or pumpkin pie and on your cake ooohwee.
