Figapalooza

This is the most figs I've been able to harvest at one time since I got into growing figs.  It was well worth the wait.

Wow!  How many trees and what varieties?  Amazing!
Suzi

Fantastic !
They look perfectly ripe.

Tom,

I don't care what anyone says about you but you are the MAN!

Awesome! Thanks for sharing.

The lower part of the picture are all Negronne EL.  That tree is probably 5years old now since I bought a fruiting size from them.  I think I'll get a couple of dozen from it this year.  There are still six on the airlayer I did from it.  The rest are Hardy Chicago and Marseilles VS Black I started from cuttings three years ago from Herman.

I have a new observation for ripeness.  If they attract flies the sugar content is high.  The only problem is a have a couple of neighbors with dogs and I don't like to think about where that fly was before it landed on my fig. LOL

Not really.  I just noticed that I have a couple of figs that I left on too long because I did not see them and they are really ripe and they tend to attract flies.
