I was going to do that and i was told they wouldn't make it. Good to see it works. My col de dame grise had a bunch i pulled.

also have SV, BG, and a BM , with figs on them , just hope they taste good ,had a few last year that were almost ripe but the squirrels beat me to them

It appears that your FP does not have leaves yet?  I am wondering if the figs will ripen properly without leaves to provide the sugars from photosynthesis.  Please let us know how they taste.

Use a pellet gun and eat the squirrel.Squirrel with Louisiana hot sauce.Fig trees are the bait for a good meal.

Hi Bob, it never went below 34 and the average was around 38

update ...this fig was starting to spoil so I had to pick it....unfortunately it was pretty tasteless because it was picked to early, but there are a few more on the tree, hopefully the rest will be better...sorry for the poor picture quality
