Hi! I'm sure this has been covered, but I couldn't find anyone talking about it in the topics. I recently acquired a fairly young (2-3 years old?) Chicago Hardy that already had immature figs growing from a lot of nodes around the tree. I've had it for about a month, and now every once in awhile a random fig will turn purplish and fall off on its own (not even close to ripe).
I'm guessing I've changed some kind of variable from its old home, but wondered if anyone had insight into what causes that kind of behavior -- age of tree, increase/decrease in watering, change in light or temperature, etc. Have you had this happen much?
