Figs dropping

I have a "Desert King" green fig in a 24-inch pot, where it has lived for years.  It put out a nice early crop back in July and now it's on its second crop -- but for some reason, a lot of the figs are getting little spots on them and falling off, or I can just grab the little figs and pull slightly and they come loose.  The stem connection point on the fig has a browninsh ring around it.  This also happened last year.  I water the plants daily and feed occasionally with bone meal.  A photo of one I just removed:

It has lost quite a few fruits this way, and I'm wondering if this could be fungal, or maybe a nutrient deficiency.  My "Petite Negra" black fig, ten feet away from this plant, is fine.  Anyone know what this problem might be?

Desert King is a first crop only fig in our climate. The second crop will ONLY ripen with the fig wasp that enters and pollinates the inside.

But it is one of the best of the Breba ( first) crop only figs. At this rate they are naturally dropping off w/o the pollination. Leave on and let drop off naturally as it will add the breba crop for next year.

Well, that explains it!  I could swear we got a second crop off it in previous years, but maybe I'm thinking of the other fig.  Thanks for the reply!

You may get an oddball here or there to ripen. I have it but its less than a year old. Alot have it on here and most if not all state its first crop only. Do a search here and type in 'Desert King' and you'll get a lot more info from prior threads and posts.
