Figs, Figs, Figs

I am finally getting a few ripe figs in my yard. I had a rat that removed most of the early crop figs for me before they even began to get ripe. Ugh! Now that there is one less rat in the world I am finally getting ripe figs. The Uncle Corky's Honey Delight were great as was the Sicilian Black. The Cataranzaro #3 did not ripen and fell off the tree. There are still two more that will hopefully ripen so that I can sample them and take pictures to share.

Very nice, James.

Is Sicilian Black similar or the same as Sicilian Red?

Nice pictures James . What's the name of the fig in the second to last picture ?

@ Pattee the picture you are asking about is the catanazaro #3 fig. I tried to label it but it did not attach. The Sicilian red and black do seem to be very similar but I would not say they are the same. I will try to post some pictures of both for you when they begin to ripen.

James thanks . That's a great looking fig . I look forward to more pics and descriptions +pics of leaves from you .
