Hello fig friends. This is the title of a new blog I'm working on, Figs Fort Smith!, gathering info on specifically local fig varieties that have survived outdoors so I can share with others in our area who may be new to figs and need info on what to get, concentrating on surviving varieties in-ground. Everybody is not like the rest of us fig fanatics and just want to plant it out in the yard and forget it.
If you are local, have fig tree(s) that are in ground, surviving a few winters and have been quite or we simply have missed each other in posting, please contact me with your variety info and pics if possible if you would like to contribute.
Thanks!
Charlie
