figs from the island of Bornholm in Denmark

Has anyone by any chance got their hands on figs from this island?

according to this link some figs in Bornholm could have been introduced from Italy by artists living on Bornholm, or by Danish seaman which have been sailing in the Mediterranean Sea in the past century. I know the Bornholm fig is sold in Scandinavian countries but I am wondering if anyone has come across other varieties from this area in Danemark.

My (Maltese) brother-in-law has one fig that he brought from
(somewhere) in Denmark, while visiting his sister who lives there
(with her Danish hubby). All I know (to the best of my recollection),
he said that it is a "good-white-fig". I was given a couple twigs off it,
but sadly, none made it (my fault!). I may try again later...
