Nice.  How many grams do those large dark figs weigh, approximately?  They look huge.

Is the dark apple the same as the black bursa?

Harvey ,it is approximetly 90-150 grams but it changes

Figherder, these are Giant Bursa black and it is grown in my garden and normally it is bigger than bursa black.

How do the Giant Bursa Black figs compare in taste to the regular Bursa? I have a new Black Bursa tree but doubt I'll get figs from it this year.

I think it is more tasty than black bursa and also in my opinion it is more black skin.

Do the the Giants have a void inside?
They look great !

No void inside .it has full inside and no space inside the fruit.

Hi Ercan, really pleased to see these excellent figs. In my country China, more and more people grow fig tress at home or near their homes & search varieties. You really can earn a lot of money by providing fig seeds to China。

Sorry but I don't sell seeds and as I know it is illegal.

It's illegal in your country?

I mean transporting seeds is illegal to another country .why you work with seeds ?you can use cuttings ,it is better way.

I don't understand why Chinese work with fig seeds instead of cutting or live plants.Growing fromn seeds take long time.

Is it a Chinese choice or a young person's choice? Young people think they have all the time in the world to experiment with growing seeds. If after ten or twenty years, one plant in 100 turns out to be eatable, they can take pride in their accomplishment. Older people just want a good, fruiting plant quick and don't have the time to wait that long. I would guess older people are more likely to choose cuttings.

The early types of figs bear some fruits.

Wow! That's a small hand and a tiny phone :)

Is there a difference in taste between a regular Bursa and a giant one?

Giant Bursa, which is sold in supermarkets Russia every autumn, has no taste. The main reason -Low sugar content close to 0.

Do they have no taste because they are picked and shipped before they are ripe?
Has anyone eaten a ripe one right off the tree?

Yes it is normally very tasty and sweet but as AltadenaMara said it is shipped when they are unriped so it maybe some lack of taste but it is full of taste and sweet when they are fully ripen.
