Figs popsicle

I have way too many figs this year, so I made them into popsicle.
Now my freezer is full.

Great Fig harvest!

I like your popsicles - can you give me a little more information on the recipe.  I am hoping next year I can make some.

Thanks

Tad

Great idea! I would do that with excess fig and then melt the popsickles as needed into fresh yogurt for snacking... I don't have the problem of excess yet...

Good idea!! I usually just freeze the all fig and put them in plastic bags afterwards. They freeze to a different level the real ripe sugary ones stay softer, try a couple in your freezer for a day , very easy and they taste and look great

The next generation of fig growers!

Reeling them in early! Nice !

Wow, nice work. That's an impressive popsicle maker you have there, with bags to boot!

The recipe is simple. I use meat grinder to crush. Then add soymilk (my wife is pro soymilk) to dilute the thick pulp, and add some sugar. Then cook the soup. After extracting from the mold, pack them in parchment paper bags.
Alternatively, you may use milk, condensed milk or water to dilute the pulp. Use honey or syrup instead of sugar.

Thanks for the recipe - sure hope I have enough figs next years for your recipe.  I will have to keep those pesky birds out of my fig trees!
