Lee Reich has shone a light on many lesser known fruits, check out his take on figs.

His fig pictures are labeled as 'Rabbi Samuel'.  Anyone hear of that one before?  Maybe just a label to remind him of where it came from?

Rabbi Samuel is in NYC, he has a fig tree where one of Lee's friend collected it.

Not enough pics for identifying. I'm surprised by the small size of the figs in July .
The guy could make his article more interesting with pics every 2 weeks to see his espalier growth and of course ripe fig pics :).

Interesting to see people in cool climates grow figs and other tender fruits!
Looks lie he also gives growing workshops.  Let's invite him to join F4F...LOL
