I noticed that the skin on a ripe Alma will easily peel from the flesh. Are there other varieties with this characteristic? God bless. CKB
The skin on the Black Jack fig that I just ate this morning (my first one) slid right off when I applied a bit of pressure while washing it. After the first bit came off I was more gentle or the whole thing would have come off.
