Filacciano Bianco

A generous member traded me for this san pedro variety called Filacciano Bianco.
I left 3 figs on the plant since it was growing so well.
This breba was fairly big and very nice tasting. My wife said it had a light richness .
Second best to my JH Adriatic breba this season.

Kerry, would you mention what you view as your "best" breba cultivar, if best were to be defined as meaning: early, flavorful, productive?

Nice fig Kerry, is this the only san pedro type that you grow. Are you only comparing the taste only to other brebas? Thanks.

Wayne ,
I'm only comparing the taste to other breba that I've had here.
Other San Pedro that I grow are Desert King RT from Encanto , Zumwalt , Filacciano B., Fiorone di Ruvo.
Tony ,
I don't have enough experience with breba cultivars to choose. I am impressed with the Filacciano B. taste for a young plant ,  but just got it this season so I can't say much.
Fiorone di Ruvo is also new for me. Desert King has been inconsistent in terms of production for me here , but I think there are strains that some are very happy with in the Northeast.
I gave away my largest DK this late Winter, a 25 gallon pot size plant , but wanted to keep the pot. So I pulled it out and did a serious root pruning and gave it as a rootball to my friend who lives in Mass. I told him to prune the top as he saw fit .
He didn't prune at all and he got a huge breba crop. A 5 year old plant I think , only produced a lot when I gave it away !
