Ischia White USDA/UCD swelling nicely :) they were the two first figs to appear this yr. that means the others are not too far behind. thank god. 

Aw Pete dont rush your figs to the palate as before you know it the season will be over .

susie, personal favorite is VdB and Paradiso Gene. but with so much rain.. not sure if they will give me the figs that will taste good this yr.

bob, UCD list Ischia Green and Ischia White as separate variety. and they do look different. i haven't knock down Ischia White yet :)

and... we had downpour last night. one of the IW is intact. however, other one has nice skin crack. they are not exactly ripe to take off the tree at this time. on the other hand IG seems to be ready, i'll remove IG tomorrow for a photo shot. i'm surprised that IW didn't blow up with amount of rain we had last night.
