Finally!

I have been trying to root "Black Maderia" for 2 years, I have rotted 3 cuttings! Hopefully, this time I got it right.. I am so tickled! This particular cutting came direct from the island of Maderia, from a very nice member. Hopefully, I can keep it alive! Good Luck, Plants.jpg  Black-Maderia.jpg  to everyone trying to root some of these "Hard to root" cuttings! :  )

Congrats Frank. Looking forward to pics of the fruit.

Good job

Way to go, Frank! Persistence paid off. She looks really healthy.

Congratulations on a job well done!

Congrats Frank, looks like it is without the virus, super!

Thanks to everyone's kind comments! Hopefully, if things go right, I will be able to share. : )

Congratulations, Frank, it looks happy. I hope it grows fast and gives you a lot of fruit.

Nice work.  They look VERY healthy!

Nice job, you hit the nail on the head this time!

Beautiful little trees, congrats!

Frank congrats! If this came straight from Madeira it could be one of a couple black figs they have, not necessarily what is known as Black Madeira from UC Davis? Your source may have already verified, not sure. I know KK was growing a different black fig from Madeira that was similar to Black Madeira as well.

Congrats, Frank!  Wishing you good luck with it.  I'm sure the transition to the big boy pot will go smoothly.

Congratulations. You have a nice group of cuttings there. I'm happy for you and just a little jealous:)

Super happy for you Frank! Your cuttings look really good and healthy. Great job! I look forward to future updates.
