I collected many cuttings this fall. I waxed the ends , wrapped them in dry paper towels and stored them in boxes in my garage ( temp 50 f ) Before I root them , should I scrape the wax from the bottom or just leave them as they are ? another though !! should I dampen the paper towels if the ends are waxed ?
Hey Sparky. 50' is not a good temp to store nor to start rooting cuttings!! Some of them might survive by chance but my bet would be that they will dry up and die!! Run a search on how to propagate cuttings and you will find a plethora of info!! Best of luck with all your cuttings!
thanks chuck. I put them back in the frig. since I am bored, I am going to try to graft some cuttings,,, like L S U on black mission, and try to root them in April
