First Breba -- Black Triana

I finally got a breba fig to ripen. My Black Triana tree is only about 20 inches tall but it had 1 breba fig on it. I was going to take it off to help the tree put more energy into growing but I couldn't resist and left it on.  Juicy and sweet, even had a bit-o-honey dripping from the eye. Hoping the main figs will be at least equally as good if not better. At this time of year any fresh fig is going to be an excellent fig. Does anyone else have this fig? In your opinion is it a keeper? Growth rate, good crops?

Man that looks good im jealous i cannot wait for my air layers that already have fruit on them

In my opinion, I think it had a figgy taste to it. I've never eaten a breba fig and was expecting it to be bland and having a watered down flavor.  I was surprised. Better than I was expecting. Too bad there was only one. Hoping to get more than that next year.
