It's a Baud plant that was grown from a gift plant recieved late this summer. We kept it on the grow shelves since the fall and she gave a nice sweet bright red fruit today that was split wide open. My wife loved it and so did I. It was very sweet bright red on the inside and was very fruity. My wife said it had hints of guava which is one of her favorites fruits. It was yellow and green on the outside.
Congrats! What's the skin like? Is it thin and flimsy, or is it somewhat thick and rubbery like the skin of a Panache?
We ate the skin no problem.
If there isn't a picture, it didn't happen ;-) Pix! We need Pix! You won't elicit the maximum level of fig envy without pictures!Cheers,Jim
