First cutting rooted and potted up

subject line says it all.
My first cutting, one of several Red Sicilians courtesy of Mario, in baggie of damp sphagnum, has sprouted roots along its entire length. Potted it up into a two litre plastic bottle with the top cut so as to hinge back and form a mini greenhouse.  So it is a happy Friday.
I have others in 500 ml water bottles, filled with sphagnum, that are leafing out, so those may or may not have roots as well that are not yet visible from outside the bottles.

sorry no pics

Thats great I hadn't thought of leaving a piece of the cut off 2 litre to form the dome of the green house good idea.

When the dome on the 2 litre bottle is too small, I will leave it open and put the whole thing into a 3 gallon plastic water bottle fashioned in asimilar way.

Hey Grant that good news, I too do the same thing I use pop bottles the 1L at first as a mini greenhouse and used to have a 5L water bottle that someone here at work stole to use as a funnel to put oil in the trucks lol. Now I make a dome out of clear pastic garbage bags and eventually start poking holes on the bag to get the plant used to less humidity slowly though.

Hi Nelson,
thanks for the reminder about slowly adjusting the humidity when the time comes. I managed to pick up about 15  three gallon water bottles over the summer from a customer I deliver to. I'll poke some holes in some of those and use them as transition domes. and once they look like more than a stick with a couple of leaves, ie they are "pretty" enough, my wife will probably let me put them in with her orchids.
and I now have produced my first unknown. after potting up the red sicilian, I found a cutting just sitting on my work area. and I have no idea which baggie of cuttings it came out of. lol.

I potted up 12 trees today, Magnolia (3), St. Rita (4), and Black Greek (3). Still have some in baggies and more in the refer. I'll start those once the bagged ones are potted. Spring is right around the corner...

Potted up more cuttings over the last few days Colasanti dark, Excel, Hollier.
Thanks Nelson.
This being my first year rooting cuttings, things seem to be going fairly well.
only one cutting lost to rot, seemed to set in right out of the fridge,
and only one cutting has shown any sing of mold.
