First Donated Cutting

I just received my first donated cutting from a very generous forum member, Gloria.  It was a Black Mission and was on my wish list.  The cutting was carefully shipped in damp sphagnum moss that was wrapped in plastic, placed in an empty paper towel roll and mailed in a small flat rate priority mail box with some bubble wrap.  Great packing job Gloria.  The cutting arrived with some healthy looking white roots intact.  It has been replanted and placed in a large clear plastic storage box with several other cuttings.  I think it has a good shot.

Very nice Bill.  The only thing I would say is you might try the clear cups.  Its fun to see the roots developing.

I'm just glad it got there in good shape, spent a long time chasing that one around my brain before packing it. I agree with Meghan I like watching the roots grow... I'd probably dig it out to check on it if I couldn't see them...
Thank you for posting the pictures... I hope to see more.
