Thanks so much to Bigbadbill even tho he's nice. I got my first ever fig tree grown from a cutting its an Italian Honey Fig. There's more cuttings that are rooting will post updates.

Congrats!  I got my first tree this spring (Chicago hardy).  The folks here are very nice and helpful.  I had a few brebas and 2 main crop this year!  Much to learn that is one thing that makes it fun! Also there is no better fresh fruit than good ripe figs.  I had ONE about 20 years ago the guy told me he had to bury it in the winter. :(   Then I found out this spring that they could be containerized when I saw this one at the market.  Looking for many years of great fruit and wishing you will as well.
