This fig was rooted in Feb. of 2013 and was planted in the ground this past May. It is one of two figs (along with Ronde de Bordeaux) that I have put in primo sunny locations in my front yard. All my other figs are in the backyard or along the side of the house. I chose JH Adriatic for this spot based on its reputation from others on the forum and I wasn't disappointed. This was the first fig I have raised that has had a drop of honey oozing from the eye. The flavor was remarkably similar to the first Figo Preto I tasted a couple of days ago but a bit sweeter. It was excellent for a first fig and I'm looking forward to what this tree will do in the future.

Very nice
Congrats Rewton that is a beautiful fig. I had my first this summer as well. I have 3 little plants, I hope to enjoy many of this wonderful variety next year!
Congrats Steve, JH A was one of the easiest cuttings for me to root. I hope it grows fast gives me a lot of figs next year. Thanks for posting.
Congratulations Steve, I hope to taste one someday..maybe next year.
Next year for me as well. Looking forward to JH! Keep them coming Steve
Good job! My jh adriatic is a slow grower for me. It put out about 8 figs but the raccoons or opossums got them before they were even close to being ripe. That is the only fig tree in my yard that the figs were eaten while still hard.
Ryan, my JHA is a moderate grower, not as fast as Ronde de Bordeaux which I have growing a short distance away. It's very healthy though - no sign of fmv/fmd so far.
Looks great Steve, thanks for sharing. I hope to add this one someday.
Thanks for Sharing, Looking GOOD. I have 184-15, hopefully its similar, should find out next year.
