This is the first fig close to ripening on my Celestial.  I am a little surprised by the color as it seems pretty light.  I am wondering if this looks like the right color for this variety.  Either way I am looking forward to my first taste of this fig.  Now if I can just be patient enough to let it ripen properly.

I really like the appearance of it in your photo, with contrasting purple ribs.

Well I picked the fig in original photo yesterday and its brother today along with a RdB.  Celestial was fantastic and RdB was pretty good in comparison.  The first photo is from a couple days ago.  Today it was really drooping a lot.
