Hi Everyone!
It's been a long time since my last post but I only now have something to share....I have 2 figs trees. One I know is a Brown Turkey. The fruit is okay, small and sweet, when I pick them at the right time (still trying to figure it out lol ) I live in Trinidad and fig trees are not readily available, so I bought it as a shot in the dark.
But I really wanted to share the first few fruits from my second tree. This was also a blind purchase and I'm ecstatic that it paid off. This is its first crop.I have no idea what variety it is, so any help would be appreciated. It's bearing such large, pretty figs- yellow and ruby red ( or maybe brown?).The taste is really sweet, like honey. In my climate we only get a few figs at a time, so I've been cutting each fig and sharing it around, and everyone loves it!
