I just tried the first LSU thibodaux on this young tree. I was trying to leave another day or so but it was about to fall off so I took it. It tasted decent for a first fruit, a little figgy, very little seed crunch (which I like), it tasted a little watered down but the flavor was there. It has a pretty big eye which I can see being a problem here sometimes but besides that I think this fig has great potential. I think next year it will taste a lot better. In the pics the smaller one is a LSU purple just for reference, they are almost the same color but the LSU purple is a little darker.
Beautiful and thank you for sharing with us!
Looks good Ryan. We can compare better next year.
Sure thing mike, I have 4 more on the little tree. As it stands it is a keeper.
Mike, I went back to your thread on this fig and we do have the same one for sure.
Thank you for sharing pictures of this one!!!
