first main crop of the yr.

RdB it was. tiny fig packed full of flavor. no pix. it was drying on the tree. this yr's been really bad for me. i had too many things going on and didn't give the trees what they needed. lot of the trees are getting heat stressed and dropping leaves. some are dropping figs. but most of them are still holding on to few figs.

i'm looking forward to few tasty bites, but i know it won't be much this yr.

Pete,

Thank GOD!!!
So glad to see you back on figs!
They will help you to be in real shape very quickly

Best wishes and a good yield

Francisco

Glad to see you back pete

thanks francisco, and ryan.. what used to be a joy is now a chore. not fun watering the trees. but i'm getting more diligent. new cutting are under the shade, so they don't have much issue. the older trees are the ones having issue. i know they won't die, but they are taking it hard. i really should move them into bigger pot when i get chance. when to doc today and was told that i need to start working out. my mind is fine, but my body is giving out. so back to kendo.. never got my nidan.. maybe i'll get it before i'm 50.

Pete I hope you feel better. I dream of going back to Karate one day, I did get my Nidan, but I just miss THE DISCIPLINE & THE BEAUTY OF IT.

Yay! Pete is back!

Good to see you back Pete

Pete, I've been missing a lot too.  Just stuff around here needing to be done and all, but I didn't know you were not well.  I hope you are better now!

Life sort of interferes with things.  JD is fine, but in less than a year, he has totaled two cars!!  NOT his fault.  First a lady ran a red light.  2nd, a dude was texting and didn't notice the traffic stopped on the freeway.  Our benz trunk was crumpled, but Benz builds a strong car, so JD didn't even have any pain after either crash.  BUT, we are shopping for cars again!  No more cars.  This time we are going for a SUV.  We'd like the other guy to lose for a change!

I'm loving having most of my figs in ground!  The only ones with issues are those in pots.  But if we hadn't planted every tree in a gopher basket, we'd be having issues with in ground trees too.

Glad you are back Pete, God bless.

Welcome back Pete

Norhayati

Yeah, Pete is back. Glad to have you back.

Aloha and welcome back, Pete.  Missed your musings. Let me know if there's anything you need from out here.

I'm an avid road cyclist and have been for most of my life. There is nothing better than taking a couple hours out and doing 30 miles on some winding country roads. I do that at least once a week.

Glad to see your still kickin and wigglin Pete:) I'm sure your plants will be fine. Hope you continue to post and not go MIA on us again! Are you married Pete?

Hi bullet08,
Welcome back !
Figs are good for the health ... So you should get some :)
I just bought two bicycles for the ladies here, and we went last Sunday for a ride in a local manifestation for promoting the use of bicycles.
They were offering helium-balloons so my small squirrel really liked the biking and then her mom and I had to carry each a balloon on the bike for the whole day !

Pete,

good to have you back man!
I am sure you will overcome all obstacles, no matter what.
