First Ripe fig this year

My first ripe fig this year is Black Ischia/Provence (no one is sure) It was very tasty. Kind of berry like. This is from the fig tree I got via the silent auction from the 1st Fig Fiesta. It's been pretty prolific.

I cant wait for mine. You got me excited. And what a great variety. I have green ischia. Want to trade. Lol

Very nice.....my trees are just starting to leaf out and your already eating your first fig .....I'm jealous!!! LOL

Looks good!  I'm still waiting for the first fig to ripen this year.

Looks great. Waiting on my Peter's Honey and Brunswick brebas to ripen. I have what is supposed to be an Ischia Blue (?) . TC plant. About 3 feet tall by now but the leaf patern does not match yours. I have not seen the fruit yet so I'm not sure if it is true to variety either. How old is your tree?

We just had a rain couple days ago. I've noticed that my figs speed up ripening whenever it rains. Got some nice big figs (green Bethlehem, conadria and 187-25) this season still unripe green but big in size. They sure are taking their time to ripen.
