Just picked this today, the one pictures a little blurry. First fruit this season, it was on the watery side, maybe a 6 out of 10

Everyone has their own opinion but I'd try to leave them on longer, protected from the critters, of course.
Yeah I may have picked it early.
Not a breba but one of the few figs that survived to the ripe stage. Had a couple of these this year and i left this one on a while longer. Its a main crop. It was ok tasting, little bit of berry and a lot of figgy taste. Wife says its terrible and tastes like pickles.....
