Ta daa! Picked and ate my very first Sal's this morning off of my pride and joy. It was delicious, not at all what I was expecting. (Not that I know anything!) Checked this fruit about 6 times between yesterday and this morning, was afraid that a bird or chipmunk would beat me to it!
 No, that's not my real tractor--don't I wish the fig were as large as the actual tractor!

Would have been a fun pic to have that tractor outside on some fine gravel  and maybe some really short fine grass with the fig beside it.
