First step to Madness!

Well I harvested about 40 cuttings from my father-in-law's giant fig tree and proceeded to root them in all the mediums I have read about on this forum. I have two storage bags of cuttings on top of my fridge and I set some in moisture control potting soil on my open back porch and set some in straight ground vermiculite and the rest in a 60/40 mix of perlite and MCPS. Well we'll see what does the best in early spring in north Alabama. I use clear plastic cups as suggested and used a deck screw to put 3 evenly spaced holes in the bottom of each cup.
NOTE: Pulling the screw out of the holes create a correct direction for water to drain and makes a slight leg for the cup to sit on so water will flow away.
The fig is probably a Celeste planted sometime in the late sixties or early seventies.

Well my figs I am rooting in vermiculite, leaves are withered
but the perlite and potting soil mix plantings leaves are still green. The ones in potting soil alone are putting out leaves. The ones in the storage bags are leafing out as well. How often should I water? I have been watering very sparingly. We had a frost last night so I moved all my rootings into my kitchen yesterday.
