Despite the monsoon type rains this fig did what it was supposed to. Herman said it can stand up to humidity and rain, he was right, not that I expected any different. The figs that normally don't split were busted wide open but not this one. The taste was good, I can imagine how good it will be in ideal ripening conditions.
Wow, nice! I had 3 cuttings, all died, now I feel really bad.
Remind me in the fall, I should be able to take a snip or two off my little tree, greenfig.
Looks great, hoping that you get many more.
i got 3 cuttings and one made it. had to baby it all winter but its in a 2 gal pot to put more roots out before going in ground. looks nice it will be awhile before i get any.
I also had a poor success rate with Nero 600m cuttings but I did get one to take. It was a slow grower for several months but seems to be growing well now.
I would have left that on the tree for a few more days especially since it is weather resistant.
