First time noob question.

Hello all , I'm trying propagating for the first time. I've gotten roots to form using the baggie method and have transferred them to small cups with 50/50 perlite soil mix. I'm using baggies over the cups as a humidity dome. I'm getting good root growth above the soil line but very little if any green. Is this due to not enough light? My real question is at what point do I remove the baggies completely? I'll try and upload a pic of the air roots.

Looks like you placed the cutting upside down. You should able to right it.

I am thinking the same.  your cutting is upside down.
keep similar humidity and bury the bottom in the potting soil, partial sun will help the growth. do NOT water too much at this stage!

Thanks for the info guys. This batch I assumed the flat cut was the top and the angle cut the bottom .I'll carefully remove them .

Many people (but not all) cut the bottoms straight across and angle the tops on the premise that tops are less likely to rot if water cannot accumulate on them when it rains.  Actually its a great way to tell the top from the bottom on cuttings where leaf scars are not obvious. Another way to figure it out if you are not certain is to find a cutting with a terminal bud and then look at the relationship between the node and the leaf scar. Align the rest the same way and you are good to go.  Think most of us have experienced an upside down cutting at one time or another.

Thanks a lot for your help. I reported the ones that looked upside down. Almost all of them had no roots or initials below the soil line. I also noticed they were not particularly angle cut on either end but it looks like 10 or so out of 15 have rooted.
