Fish Juice

Went fishing at Mississippi river dam near Iowa border with niece's husband and we caught a dozen drum fish jigging and kept them on a stringer in water as i had a plan for them.
At end of day i was spent from lack of sleep (long story) anyhoot i caught a 10 & 15 carp at end of day and released them back into river, my right arm was kinda sore when i arrived home. We put the drum fish in  5 gallon bucket with cover and no ice and when i got home i buried them whole in my veggie garden i was going to chop them up first but i was beat !
In bottom of bucket there was about 2 to 3 cups of nice and smelly fish juice not red blood or anything just tannish color fish juice lets call it. Hmm i said to my self not exactly thinking straight being up 24 straight hours i went over to my Ischia Black and poured into its pot oh gosh that stuff stinks. This morning i awoke and went and got a few cups of rain water and poured it into ischia pot as well. As sick and stunted as this plant is just maybe i will get some leaves that
are fish shaped instead of deformed ! Or with this fish juice it will finnaly be put out of its misery and keel over.

Course i could have pulled a nice prank on somebody with that smelly stuff .

Martin, you have done a wonderful thing!  I do this every other week with the water from my Koi fish aquarium. I do not have any chemicals in my water at all, so I don't mind using the water, the filter is just a simple sponge, it keeps the water clear as I am very funny about using chemicals in anything living. Yes, Imay have to change the tank periodically more so than if I had a good filtration system with all the chemicals, but I learned this when back in ITaly, the family did this for generations when they would catch fresh water fish from the mountains. We did not use the water from the fish and squid we caught from the nearby sea.  Any water left in the buckets or large tubs that they kept the fish in, it would all be dumped on the plants, gardens for harvest.  The plants loved it.  We would also always sacrafice not so desireable fish and bury them whole while alive in the orchards or large gardens, which over there, the gardens were easily the size of most peoples streets or avenues.  Your plant will thank you for it Marty!  Ciao
