Still dealing with Yellow Jackets. I have used floating row covers for veggies in the past, but mostly for frost protection/season extending.
I was thinking I could buy a good sized roll and when my figs start to ripen just throw it over all my trees or cut my own little "organza bags" out of it. The kind I have used in the past allows 85 or 90 % of all sunlight to get through so I wouldn't think it would not have a large impact on slowing the ripening process.
Anybody tried this for yellow jackets/insects/birds on there figs?
