That was a good article.  I found it interesting that many nursery varieties come from seed from one source, at least the author indicates that this is the case.  And that is why there is so much variety in the 'Afghan Fig' or Ficus Afghanistanica, the author asserts.
Hitting the back button also yielded some other non-fig articles that were interesting as well.  Thanks!

I got a fruiting Afghan fig from a professor from Kentucky. it was brought to the US as cutting. I also have the Afghanistanica seedling. Hopefully one of those will fruit for us.

Bass , that type is nice looking i like and alomst tried to get one but then i said i have no more room for others i wanted ahead of it at the time so oh well.
Please let us know how one day they turn out for you as i think you can grow them nice im sure.
